Shar is proud to announce the winners of the first annual Shar Quartet Competition: Giancarlo L., Helen R., Daniel R., and Nathan C. of Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor! They are the last group featured in the first video and the 4th group featured in the second, long version.
The winners were given backstage passes the University Musical Society’s presentation of the Takács quartet and signed copies of the group’s complete Beethoven works. Two members of the Takács quartet visited Pioneer to give a masterclass for the group the day after their performance.
